@af no, the button appearing there is a bug, and federation isn't turned on in any case
@mayel Hi, thank you for your answer! My question was in the context of a federated instance: do the instance users have to accept federation requests in a mutual trust model? There's a lot of junk in my main instance federated TL (it's poorly moderated).
