Hi everyone! Testing this thing out, it looks very cool so far so I'm excited to see what happens when federation is eventually switched on :D
I cannot follow myself from other instances. I send the follow request, but on Bonfire the notification pane is empty and I have no place where to approve my follow request… what can I do?
Thanks!
there is an overflow display problem in the text that appears when hovering on the attachment button.

Admin configurable I assume. A few seconds could be enough to prohibit boost spamming. (not by script though)
Some notification related bugs I encountered:
- follow notification clears the home feed except for the "new follow" post
- when composing a post reply and a notification comes in, the frontend refreshes and the "reply to" post is cleared. Can be reattached though, by clicking on the reply arrow once more. Posts field is kept open and post text is saved.
I'm just trying this platform, for fun.
Really nice to see that navigation (moving between timelines) works without JavaScript, but post writing doesn't. Is this last thing a bug? I don't believe it's intentional.

Oh, and on the home feed there is no indication that this posts has an attached media - only when I open the post, it is shown. Preview only.
Media description is possible and shown when the media is opened (zoomed)
Yeah we thought it might be a cool feature, but probably worth having some configurable time limits between re-boosts? @BonfireBuilders

Multiple boosts can be a bit messy 🐛
(I did click the boost button multiple times, but got only 1 notification)

Un-boosting should probably remove the boost from the home feed so that a new boost may be created. @BonfireBuilders
Oh, been a long time that I saw quoted posts.
