Minor esthetic suggestion: when you scroll the timeline you have to keep the mouse on it. This highlights every post the pointer is on (so you can notice you can click it) and even if it's nice to see at first, when you read the timeline for a while, watching at the highlight going on and off quickly could become annoying.
I'd like if overlay effect could be an option you can disable in the settings or it should be possible to scroll the timeline while the mouse is somewhere else.
