It would be good to have a way to clear notifications/mark as read. I have 4 pending notifications right now, but no matter what I do I can't get them to go away.

Oh wow, didn't even notice that! I'm on desktop so it's not in the most obvious position, haha. Thanks for pointing it out, that did the trick!
It's not very obvious but have you tried clicking the checkmark at the top?
