Hello, World!
It's still very very early days, but how would bonfire reshape social networking?

Could idea. In the meantime you can click on the top-left button to expand the names.
*Good idea
Can we add tooltips to the sidebar icons on Desktop. I have no idea what they are supposed to be, and I'm barely inclined to click through and figure it out.

Here is some #bonfire_feedback.
I know it's some kind of alpha-early-access-testing instance but here we are:
- Received the activation email more than 30min after signing up
- Default lang was Catalan even if my web browser & entire OS is in English
- Uploading profile picture needed a reloading of the page to show the new image
- I didn't wanted to activate 2FA/TOTP when signing up but now I cannot find where to do it on the settings
Otherwise, looks very good. I love the refreshing UI. I'll need some time to explore and adapt to the UX but it's perfectly normal at this point.
I do hope your work will continue with in mind the non-technical users. Ultimately that's what will make #bonfire succeed, or not. 💕

Congrats on your efforts so far! This looks extremely user-friendly and well-designed, which is likely to win over many new users:)
I especially love how it feels very much task oriented, showing or hiding only what is necessary in each context. Even something as simple as using a letter icon for DMs feels just right. Everything feels as though it's where it should be, and that is from playing around with fresh eyes for less than 5 min.
Do I understand this correctly, that it can either be used as a contained community or it can connect to the wider fediverse, like Mastodon?
One last thing. I would be great if possible at one point to make a package available for #yunohost which would make self-hosting a much easier proposition for non-technical users:) It makes installing most apps a one-click affair https://yunohost.org/en/apps?q=%2Fapps
And bonus points for using #penpot !!! ;)
