Yeah that's a good point, I wanted to experiment with it being part of the signup flow rather than a power-user thing hidden in settings that only a minority would look for and enable. But yeah after email confirmation may make sense.
Can see the value in encouraging 2FA but maybe after sign up there's a notification that you "haven't set up two factor authentication yet"?

@BonfireBuilders I don’t see a “share feedback” button the screen. Using safari on iPhone 12 mini. There is also quite a bit of scrolling around to navigate the “write a post” screen.
Do you mean that the post button is off the screen in the compose window?

When you're browsing a timeline (e.g. the local instance) and you get a notification (e.g. new follow) the feed disappears until you clear the notification.
