Your suggestion is to merge them together?
@dajbelshaw @bonfire I am also somewhat confused. I can add multiple people and circles to a boundary? I am not sure if I am supposed to use boundaries at sets of circles and people (a boundary for all I might want to share photos with) or if boundaries are more to specify groups that have certain permissions or abilities (can view not boost my posts).
@bonfire @Supernova Yeah, I think that 'boundary' is a confusing name (in terms of UX, at least) as opposed to 'circle' 😆

Might be my lack of understanding, but I'm assuming that by defining a 'circle' I'm adding a group of people to a list.
This is different to creating a 'boundary' where I'm defining permissions of the people in that list in relation to my posts.
Is that right? At the moment, I feel like the circle/boundary language could be clearer?

Yeah, just my opinion (and you're the expert!) but having even a line between the three types of feeds and everything else would help scaffold people's attention?

I have a suggestion for Bonfire: while I'm all for experimenting with the UI, having eight different menu options together is... a lot!
Notifications, message, and favourites are qualitatively different, I would suggest, from feeds (my, local, federated). I'd expect to access settings and the ability to logout from my profile, perhaps? 😀

@dajbelshaw well directly embeding a remote image is called hotlinking and some websites don't like it, whether it's because of bandwidth costs or less chances to shove ads in our faces. When we next update the playground though, you'll be able to copy the image (the image itself rather than the URL, see screenshot) and paste it into the editor, which will upload a copy of the original file instead.

Giphy is one of those sites that does something dodgy where what looks like the URL to image file (see the .gif extension) actually serves you an HTML page if you visit it directly. If you use the URL of the page the gif is on though, oembed should allow us to pull it in: giphy.com/gifs/tongue-goodni...
