It would be really nice to be able to set redirect URLs for Youtube Videos, Instagram Posts etc.
The Fedilab App does provide it and then replaces all links to Youtube with the preset Invidous URL for example.

I'm trying to run with just and I'm getting ** (ArgumentError) cookie store expects conn.secret_key_base to be at least 64 bytes on page request
@vera thanks for giving it a go! There's at least 3 random secrets that you need to set in your
./.env file, which you can run just secrets to generate (and then copy paste)

@EduMerco yeah, hopefully that's something where our kanban tools will be able to help, so you can turn a discussion here into a task, but in the meantime we're using for changemap for organising the overall roadmap and future features (where anyone can add suggestions and vote/comment on existing ones), and Github for bugs and implementation details

@dajbelshaw uhm... I tried to edit the title of your thread and I could. Unless I'm not getting the point, I think it's a strange behaviour if everybody can edit other users titles.
yeah, making it editable later (rather than when you start a new thread) is intended to make it more of a curation feature, and I think extending that power beyond the original thread creator makes sense, but of course it shouldn't be editable by anyone by default and it's worth discussing what the ideal UX may look like. This will tie into work on circles and custom boundaries: https://github.com/bonfire-networks/bonfire-app/issues/223

@xarvos @dajbelshaw you can manually lookup (pull) remote actors or content, and vice versa, but automatic federation (push) is disabled
Any possibility we could move the project over from Github to something like Gitea, instead? They plan on adding federation, too :)
