I wonder if it is possible for a fedi project like bonfire to keep old user images on a post when a user uploads a new user image. Ideally, the user could choose when changing the user image if all previous versions of the image should be overwritten or kept.

@Dragan_Espenschied @BonfireBuilders @dajbelshaw @mayel In telegram when you change your avatar it keeps the old ones and you can swipe through them or delete them from the profile.

gravitar is a bit different in that different pictures can be assigned to different personas, but something like that would indeed be very cool
