If #android users felt like they owned their phones, they'd start to do silly things like wanting to remove software and services they don't use. So we need to replace them every few years. Android is a sort of paid service and we get a new phone for "free", that we don't actually own.
Thanks! Will surely do. :)
BTW, a #bonfire_feedback: the link to the video is not expanding in site, not even becoming a link... Shouldn't it be?
Thanks again... :D
yeah, a known issue with how content is formatted by the editor 👍

While not happy, "Being the change" by Peter Kalmus gave me a lot of peace in a very budhist way. I am about to finish it and very happy to found it. :)
I've just ordered "novacene" by lovelock, I feel I really need a non dystopian narrative on how technology can help us navigate the climate change

Yeah this is possible with the current "shared user" feature, though we want to improve its UX.
Thanks!!
Also I'd like to be able to share my entire TL (letting others add it as a list) with boundaries… @BonfireBuilders #bonfire_feedback
That's interesting. You'll notice that you have an automatic circle with all the people you follow, and since we've talked about the possibility of optionally sharing circles as lists (with certain boundaries applied) in future, this would then become possible.
Yeah, it didn't let me select it when the file dialog box opened 😅
Oops we have two allow-lists, one of extensions and one of mime types, I'll merge them so we avoid this confusion in future.
I'm interested in the "follow org accounts" use case – can we use boundaries to manage an account collectively without having to share the password? Which means posting, but also click-sharing as $ORG @BonfireBuilders #bonfire_feedback

I'm aware this is probably a feature request, but I'd like to be able to click-share something I see in my own TL on behalf of an org, and use boundaries to show (to the collective, to managers, publicly…) who posted/shared something. @BonfireBuilders #bonfire_feedback

You can view/edit both your circles and boundaries in settings: playground.bonfire.cafe/sett...
Oh, OK. Perhaps a shortcut to that from the 'edit' button the Circles modal accessible from the compose area might be worth experimenting with. One to add to user research sessions? 🙂
Seems webm is already allowed. Maybe the mime type isn't being recognised correctly though...

I have a suggestion for Bonfire: adding tags to existing posts doesn't seem to work 😅
(also I had to convert this webm screen recording to mp4 - could you enable webm as valid upload format/extension?)

I'd love to talk with you about that too, we're now refactoring the topic UX and plan to work on boundaries UX as well shortly after, so it's a perfect timing to brainstorm together!
Have you tried the other compose options in settings? playground.bonfire.cafe/post...
Very cool, but also I still think that button is irrelevant and (no matter which compose option you choose) the circles/boundaries option still comes before the post 😉
