I’m not even sure I’d be transitioning today without Bonfire.
Because I’d still be using the usual microblogging software and it would get in the way.
I’d probably have realized it’s harmful for me but I’m also sure it can help and that many people need it.
Honestly I feel like using Bonfire to create and assign myself tasks and to coordinate would make me proud of what I’m doing, which is the exact opposite of either Twitter or Mastodon. It’s also an impressive feat and I can’t wait for its first stable release (I’ll tell everyone about it).

- I feel like "Retour à Lergnes" (a sociology study on working class Beaux-Arts students who failed professionally as artists because they couldn’t maintain their professional social network, becoming both public servants, respectively a technical art teacher in a highschool and a documentalist at a general school) could help me to understand how Bonfire could help artists to become and stay successful.
Excuse me @BonfireBuilders but I’m trying to tag +How_might_artists_creatives_flourish_on_bonfire@playground.bonfire.cafe under this post and the feature seems broken:
- the automatic search function loads for a long time (I haven’t found anything in about 1 minute), and
- after I’ve added the entire address manually the web interface has added a tag named "undefined" and quickly deleted it
Could I set a profile as the default one to be greeted with my name and not my deadname? I don’t think you should drop everything and implement it ASAP for me (it’s a beta) but lacking this feature for the first stable release would be a problem. #bonfire_feedback @BonfireBuilders
I’m not saying you should re-upload this survey to Yakform for this reason alone (I use Windows daily) but with the UX problem, it could weigh a bit.

It would be good to have a way to clear notifications/mark as read. I have 4 pending notifications right now, but no matter what I do I can't get them to go away.

Am I the only one to think that Cozy Cloud and Caliopen would make an amazing combo, given that the former relies a lot on email and that the latter’s (supposed to become) a modular frontend for various communication protocols and services, giving privacy scores on the tools we use to communicate?
My point being that as of now, Caliopen works primarily (if not only) with email. It would bring email capabilities to Cozy Cloud, which would in return power it up.

Hi Doug, It was my mistake not to have noticed that in the countries section were in Spanish, but I already solved it. I'm going to take into consideration the age, it's good that you made me notice.
Regarding the French in the survey, I do not have the power to change it. It's something to deal with when switching from Google Forms to Frama Soft which is French.

I wanted to contribute, but the UX of that form is horrendous. I'm used to hunting between 'United Kingdom', 'Great Britain' and 'England' on drop-downs, but none of them seem to exist?
Also, if you want the form to be anonymous then don't ask for my exact age but rather give age brackets for me to choose from.
Finally, I couldn't change the language of the form. 😐

Back from Lille. Which was amazing.
Hi, it's me again with another survey. I know, but to my benefit we made some changes. We are using Frama Soft to avoid using Google Forms and have new questions with some of the oldest ones. All this, thanks to suggestions from @ivan and tutors.
