I have a suggestion for Bonfire: @BonfireBuilders #bonfire_feedback The user interface seems to suggest that I want to do serial posting most of the time, which I think should not really be encouraged. So after I push the "post" button, instead of showing me the result of my labor, bonfire shows a toast message with a link that would lead me there. My sense is that posting something should show me what I sent out into the world immediately, as others will see it. Because the composition and display can be quite different, you will spot typos etc. Also probably I want to see if somebody is reacting to what I posted.Just keeping me at the post composition makes it look like I should just keep posting, without concern for feedback.

Definitely, yes. Please put us back into the feed after we post.

I'm confused.I haven't clicked <Share feedback> at all so, no, not that one. But is there a composer in the sidebar? Not in my sidebar, i think. The only composer I've seen - writing a new post or replying to one - is a damn big one that occupies far more screen than it needs to do - 50% of the browser window area - with acres of white space, running down to the bottom of the browser window ( meaning that the drop-down menu on the <Public> button runs off the bottom of the window and is unreadable and inaccessible - if anything in fact lives there in the drop-down, apart from 'Public'). I would be very satisfied with a small composer in a sidebar, similar to Mastodon.btw, what's the character limit on a post? Are they limitless? O dear 🙄

I'm on Firefox under MacOS

@Dragan_Espenschied @BonfireBuilders @barefoot_doc @LibertyBeta @dajbelshaw @ivan right, and my assumption is that of those 3 places, only the /write page "makes it look like I should just keep posting", no? if you're in your main feed what you posted does get added to the top, same if you're replying in a thread or message, guess I'm just worried of loosing context if a redirect is triggered...
