1. those animations are included into our css framework (we use daisyui, I need to check if we can optionally disable them)

3. the boundary dropdown will be soo refactored, as we're working on adding custom boundary (see this: github.com/bonfire-networks/... )

5. you're right, that's because we're using Quilljs a wyswyg editor based on html, rather than md -> in the medium term we'll add the possibility to configure your own editor (quilljs / prosemirror / ...) or to go with a simple textarea, quill was the easier to start with, but probably prosemirror will be the best default in the long run
